Picture update from the grey lozer thumb (the color between a green thumb and a black thumb). We’re still learning!
The squash is not happy.
The lilies were so happy until we had severe winds for two days. Between the wind and the squirrels, this plant just decided to thrive all flopped over.
Gardenias are quite happy this year and smell divine!
Palms are quite happy. We’ll have beautiful palms for Palm Sunday next year.
I was super excited about the cucumbers but they are looking rather yellow sad. Lots of blooms but no signs of fruit….
Need to plant…
Spearmint is growing nicely. Not sure what to do with it….
We are clipping basil and oregano daily!
Summertime, sweet summertime….yes! The kiddos finished school a few days ago and we’re already staring at a full calendar for the next few months. With camps, church trips, mission weeks….it’s one fun activity after another. To kick off the very first DAY of our summer break, AM and Dad jumped a plane and headed cross-country. Fun times with family. Albeit a short trip, they packed in about as much fun as they possibly could in a matter of a couple of days. Us homebound bodies are looking forward to their return TODAY!! Their travels were not uneventful but I’ll wait for them to pen their adventures and add them to our writings.
For those of us left behind, we were able to enjoy some time with the newlyweds. With the wedding a behind us, time together is slower and simply, nice. The wedding was by far the closest I’ve ever seen to the perfect “fairytale” wedding. It was beautiful from the inside out. Now to take out a loan to purchase the absolutely astounding pictures!!
